Dawkins recently became Guilford County’s all-time leading scorer, cementing his place among the best to come through the area. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard and Western Carolina signee currently sits 11th on the NCHSAA’s all-time scoring list. Eastern Alamance alum James Curry holds the state record with 3,373 points, while Reidsville’s Dionte Neal sits fifth. Both Neal and Dawkins could have as many as five more games remaining this season, leaving room for movement up the list.
